Welcome aboard. German grammars are useless, since nobody actually uses it. Try going to Berlin for a week. Check in at a creepy hostel, with some dude managing the whole place by himself.

Then ask him about directions. Or what to see. His eyes will open wide, and German will be learned.

Well, at least then you have a legitimate claim to the country. Experience has taught us that Danes rarely PTO. I know of one exception, and we turned one of them into our Minister of Finance later on.
